Our Story

How It All Began

While attending rival colleges at the peak of the COVID pandemic, Sarah and Louis connected through a dating app. They first met at a coffee shop halfway between Eugene and Corvallis and hit it off. After a series of virtual dates, the connection grew through their shared love of board/party games, puzzles, and cats as they took turns traveling an hour to see each other.

The next few years were filled with adventures, laughter, some tears, and a lot of cat care. Eventually, the two decided to relocate to North Carolina where they now live.

October 2020

It's a match!

Sarah and Louis first started talking on the dating app Hinge. Louis made the first move.

November 2020

Our first date

Sarah and Louis went on their first date at a little coffee shop in Junction City.

December 2025

The Proposal

Louis proposed to Sarah on a cold beach in Emerald Isle, NC.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1, 2027. You can RSVP using the link in the section below.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semiformal. We encourage you to dress up and celebrate with us!

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome. Please include your children in your RSVP if you plan to attend with them. Some entertainment for children will be provided.

Is there parking available?

Parking will be available at the Troutdale House. We will provide a shuttle service to and from Cyrstal Springs (the reception venue) due to limited parking at the garden.

Are there hotel room blocks available?

Yes. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn Troutdale-Portland East. Please mention the Snow-Lariccia wedding when booking to receive the discounted rate.

Will there be transportation between venues?

A shuttle will be provided from the reception venue (Troutdale House) to the ceremony venue (Crystal Springs) and back.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to ensure the moment is not disrupted.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies on your RSVP form and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you have a registry?

Yes — you can browse it on Amazon. We kindly ask you to refrain from bringing large items to the wedding as we would like to avoid shipping things back to North Carolina.
